10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Premium Quality Rice (Tuesday, March 26, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 16,640 per kg for super I quality rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 16,550 per kg.

The daily price of super I quality rice in modern markets in DKI Jakarta was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 20,500 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of super I quality rice in this province is higher; previously it was recorded at Rp 13,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Kalimantan, super I quality rice was sold at Rp 19,450 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of super I quality rice in North Kalimantan was Rp 19,400 per kg, West Sumatra Rp 19,350 per kg, and East Nusa Tenggara Rp 19,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, 15 provinces had super I quality rice prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for super I quality rice were Bangka Belitung Islands, South Kalimantan, and South Sumatra.
