Food Prices Tuesday (5/8) in Aceh: Red Chili Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (August 5, 2025) at 12:34 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 15 saw an increase and 6 saw a decrease.

Commodities with price increases include mackerel, garlic, shallots, broiler eggs, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, bulk wheat flour, consumption salt, consumption sugar, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili saw the highest jump of Rp5,000 (13.89%) to Rp41,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk wheat flour had the sharpest decrease of Rp233 (2.2%) to Rp10,347 per kg.
