Daily Prices of Red Chili Peppers in Modern Markets of Bangka Belitung Province Increased by 67.45% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of red chili peppers in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands Province is recorded at Rp138,900 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

However, compared to the last month, the daily price of red chili peppers in modern markets has increased from Rp82,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chili peppers in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands Province over the last three months has increased by 27.49% from the previous price of Rp108,950 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of red chili peppers in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2024 with an increase of 91.12%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2024 with a decrease of -50.39%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Bangka Belitung Islands Province show four commodities decreased and 17 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Beef, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Super I Quality Rice, and Grade 1 Beef.

5. Grade 2 Beef per Kg: Rp134,400 per kg (up 5.95%)
6. Super II Quality Rice per Kg: Rp16,050 per kg (unchanged)
7. Chicken Meat per Kg: Rp51,900 per kg (up 10.66%)
8. Red Chili per Kg: Rp138,900 per kg (up 67.45%)
9. Chili Pepper per Kg: Rp117,650 per kg (up 45.79%)
10. Grade I Low Quality Rice per Kg: Rp15,150 per kg (unchanged)
