Beef Prices in Traditional Markets for the Period February 2025-2026

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the daily beef price in traditional markets of Bengkulu Province is recorded at Rp135.3 thousand. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day as well as in the last week.

Regarding the price in the last month, the development of daily beef prices in traditional markets has not changed from the previous recorded price of Rp135.3 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily beef price in traditional markets in Bengkulu over the last three months has seen a 0% decrease. Based on historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily beef price in traditional markets of Bengkulu Province is traded at Rp135.3 thousand.

The record increase in daily beef prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2017 with an 8% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2021 with an 8.43% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Bengkulu show that eight commodities have decreased and five have increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Grade 2 Beef, Curly Red Chili, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Fresh Broiler Eggs, Green Bird's Eye Chili, and Medium-sized Shallots.

2. Medium I Quality Rice per Kg: Rp16.3 thousand per kg (unchanged)
3. Medium II Quality Rice per Kg: Rp15.5 thousand per kg (unchanged)
4. Super I Quality Rice per Kg: Rp15.35 thousand per kg (unchanged)
5. Lower I Quality Rice per Kg: Rp15.15 thousand per kg (unchanged)
6. Curly Red Chili per Kg: Rp38.25 thousand per kg (down 36.2%)
7. Lower II Quality Rice per Kg: Rp14.95 thousand per kg (unchanged)
8. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp17.2 thousand per kg (down 2.27%)
9. Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat per Kg: Rp43.45 thousand per kg (down 5.13%)
10. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Type 2 per Kg: Rp26.3 thousand per kg (unchanged)
11. Red Bird's Eye Chili per Kg: Rp65.45 thousand per kg (down 12.68%)
12. Fresh Broiler Eggs per Kg: Rp29.45 thousand per kg (down 2.32%)
13. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg: Rp62.95 thousand per kg (down 17.12%)
14. Medium-sized Shallots per Kg: Rp44.45 thousand per kg (down 15.25%)
15. Medium-sized Garlic per Kg: Rp51.45 thousand per kg (up 3%)
