East Java Food Price List Today: Egg and Chili Prices Rise (Tuesday, January 23, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (23/1/2024) at 12.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, garlic cloves, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, broiler chicken, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,360 (2.45%) to Rp56,780 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp2,170 (6.9%) to Rp29,270 per kg.

6. Indian Mackerel: Rp33,000 per kg (down 2.08%)
7. Broiler Chicken: Rp32,170 per kg (down 0.74%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,270 per kg (down 6.9%)
9. Red Onion: Rp27,600 per kg (down 1.67%)
