Banten Food Prices, Sunday (June 2nd): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (2/6/2024) at 11:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, red chili peppers, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase, up Rp1,190 (3.24%) to Rp37,930 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease, down Rp3,000 (7.69%) to Rp36,000 per kg.
