Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Sugar and Egg Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (26/5/2024) at 16.07 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, broiler chicken, milkfish, curly red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, iodized fine salt, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,860 (6.5%) to Rp46,870 per kg. Red onions saw the lowest price decrease of Rp190 (0.43%) to Rp44,390 per kg.
