Rice Prices in Modern Markets for the March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 16:23 WIB, the daily rice price in modern markets in Jambi Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

As for the price over the last month, the development of daily rice prices in modern markets has remained unchanged from the previous recorded price of Rp15,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily rice price in modern markets in Jambi over the last three months has increased by 1.31% from the previous trading price of Rp15,250 per kg.

The record increase in daily rice prices in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2017 with an increase of 7.45%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2018 with a decrease of -8.79%.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in Jambi recorded ten commodities decreased and seven others increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Broiler Eggs, Garlic, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Bird's Eye Chili, Red Chili, Medium-sized Garlic, and Curly Red Chili.
