Latest Food Prices in Lampung Region: Egg, Chicken Meat, and Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (August 4, 2025) at 11:59 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include milkfish, dried soybeans (imported), packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili prices surged the highest by Rp3,745 (10.52%) to Rp39,333 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel prices dropped the sharpest by Rp2,509 (7.51%) to Rp30,882 per kg.
