Daily Chicken Meat Prices in Traditional Markets of DKI Jakarta Province Increased by 0.29% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta Province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp34,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta over the past three months has decreased by 10.6%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta Province is traded at Rp39,150.

The record high for the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2022 with an increase of 11.95%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2022 with a decrease of -7.87%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in DKI Jakarta show 15 commodities decreased and four others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Red Chili, Chicken Meat, Cooking Oil, Curly Red Chili, Low-Quality Rice II, Chili Peppers, Low-Quality Rice I, Large Red Chili, Green Chili Peppers, Super Quality Rice I, Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs, Rice, Medium Quality Rice II, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, and Chicken Eggs.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price trend over the past month in DKI Jakarta Province:

8. Red Chili Peppers per Kg Rp77,700 per kg (up 8.37%)
9. Large Red Chili per Kg Rp59,950 per kg (down 4.39%)
