Central Java Food Price Update Today: Chicken Price Up, Onion Price Down (Thursday, February 8, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (8/2/2024) at 11:11 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, red chilies, curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), dry soybean (import), shallots, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp190 (1.95%) to Rp9,950 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp940 (3.5%) to Rp25,930 per kg.
