Food Prices Today, December 12 in DKI Jakarta: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (12/12/2025) at 15:06 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler eggs, red bird's eye chili, broiler meat, premium rice, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, shallots, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili surged the highest by Rp1,800 (1.89%) to Rp96,850 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the most by Rp2,950 (4.15%) to Rp68,050 per kg.
