Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Egg and Onion Prices Rise

Food prices in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (24/9/2024) at 15.21 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, garlic bulbs, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, shallots, Indian mackerel, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp770 (1.94%) to Rp40,520 per kg. Bulk cooking oil experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp1,100 (6.54%) to Rp15,710 per liter.
