Today's Food Price List in Riau: Prices of Chicken, Sugar, and Eggs Increase (Saturday, December 16, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Riau today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (16/12/2023) at 10:55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, milkfish, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, fine iodized salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and dry soybean seeds (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,050 (5.05%) to Rp42,620 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk wheat flour saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp430 (3.68%) to Rp11,240 per kg.
