Daily Chicken Egg Prices in Traditional Markets of DKI Jakarta Province Have Decreased by 0.34% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 12:44 WIB, the daily price of chicken eggs in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta Province increased by Rp650 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp29,500.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of chicken eggs in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp29,600.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken eggs in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta over the past three months has increased by 9.46% from the previous record of Rp26,950.

The record high for the daily price of chicken eggs in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2021 with an increase of 23.9%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2022 with a decrease of -6.53%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in DKI Jakarta show 11 commodities decreased and 18 increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Meat, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Grade 2 Beef, Fresh Chicken Meat, Cooking Oil, Beef, Medium-Sized Garlic, Garlic, Medium-Sized Shallots, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, and Grade 1 Beef.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in DKI Jakarta Province:

8. Fresh Chicken Eggs per Kg Rp27,800/kg (up 1.46%)
9. Grade I Low-Quality Rice per Kg Rp14,950/kg (up 5.65%)
10. Red Chili Peppers per Kg Rp110,950/kg (up 62.21%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg Rp21,650/kg (down 8.65%)
