After the 2023 French Open, Jonatan Christie rose to 4th in the BWF Men's Singles rankings.

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has released the latest men's singles rankings following the French Open 2023 tournament, held from October 24-29, 2023, at Glaz Arena, Rennes, France.

In the tournament, Indonesian badminton player Jonatan Christie secured his first BWF World Tour 750 title after defeating Chinese player Li Shi Feng in the French Open 2023 final on Sunday (29/10/2023).

This victory wasn't easy; Jonatan initially lost the first game 16-21. He then staged a comeback, winning the next two games with final scores of 21-15 and 21-14.

This French Open victory directly impacted Jonatan's ranking. Previously ranked fourth, he has risen to second place in the world with 81,871 points.

Meanwhile, the top spot remains firmly held by Danish player Viktor Axelsen with 101,355 points.

Another Indonesian player, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, follows closely in third place with 86,611 points.
