Respondents also revealed that the younger generation needs to support all G20 activities. The government is expected to encourage young people to become game changers who will actively participate in Indonesia's G20 presidency this year.

For information, the G20 is a multilateral cooperation forum comprising countries with large economies worldwide. The G20 implementation began on December 1, 2021, and will culminate in the Summit (Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi or KTT) in November 2022.

Indonesia officially holds the G20 Presidency for a full year. This makes Indonesia the first developing country to host the G20.

This survey was conducted from July 7-22, 2022, using a telesurvey method involving 906 Gen Z (17-24 years old) and Gen Y (25-40 years old) respondents spread across 11 major cities in Indonesia, with a response rate of 17.67%.
