Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Beef and Egg Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (25/8/2024) at 2:48 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, SPHP rice, granulated sugar, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, Indian mackerel, red chili peppers, garlic bulbs, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp1,180 (3.99%) to Rp30,770 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili pepper prices fell the most sharply by Rp1,530 (2.99%) to Rp49,720 per kg.
