Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Food prices in Jakarta today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (4/4/2025) at 10:51 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, kembung fish, SPHP rice, broiler chicken, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, and table salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

SPHP rice saw the highest price increase of Rp12,000 (inf%) to Rp12,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp5,072 (4.81%) to Rp100,313 per kg.
