Bali Food Price Update Today: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Saturday, March 23, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (23/3/2024) at 14.22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, chicken eggs, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp830 (5.27%) to Rp16,590 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the lowest decrease of Rp5,730 (10.4%) to Rp49,380 per kg.

8. Shallots: Rp29,420 per kg (up 1.48%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,040 per kg (down 0.95%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp25,490 per kg (down 2.41%)
