Current Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (4/6/2024) at 11:37 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, Indian mackerel, garlic bulbs, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, shallots, and red cayenne peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp1,070 (3.91%) to Rp28,460 per kg. Meanwhile, red cayenne pepper prices decreased the least by Rp1,220 (2.83%) to Rp41,940 per kg.
