Central Java Food Prices Wednesday (September 11th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (11/9/2024) at 08.40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, iodized fine salt, milkfish, shallots, and dry soybean seeds (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, skipjack tuna, premium rice, medium rice, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp670 (5.96%), reaching Rp11,910 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the steepest price drop of Rp2,840 (8.97%), reaching Rp28,810 per kg.
