Central Java Food Prices Thursday (September 11): Chicken Meat Prices Up, Salt Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (September 11, 2025) at 02:28 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include Minyakita cooking oil, medium rice, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, shallots, consumption salt, packaged cooking oil, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest increase of Rp715 (1.97%) to Rp37,038 per kg. Meanwhile, consumption salt prices dropped most sharply by Rp255 (2.32%) to Rp10,745 per kg.

5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,038 per kg (up 1.97%)
6. Shallots: Rp37,020 per kg (down 1.57%)
7. Large Red Chili: Rp36,620 per kg (down 1.52%)
8. Milkfish: Rp33,566 per kg (down 0.22%)
9. Mackerel: Rp33,215 per kg (down 0.47%)
