Current Food Prices in South Sumatra: Oil Prices Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (11/11/2025) at 1:55 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged wheat flour, broiler eggs, dry soybean seeds (imported), consumption salt, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, large red chili, milkfish, medium rice, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil commodity surged the highest by Rp238 (1.52%) to Rp15,942 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the most by Rp1,329 (2.38%) to Rp54,600 per kg.
