Beef Prices in West Kalimantan Are the Highest Nationally (Wednesday, April 20, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of beef (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 166,580 per kg, data as of Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 163,850 per kg.

The daily price of beef in modern markets in West Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 257,400 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of beef in this province is lower. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 260,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Sulawesi, the price of beef was sold at Rp 187,350 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of beef in East Kalimantan was Rp 172,000 per kg, Jambi Rp 169,500 per kg, and North Maluku Rp 164,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are nine provinces with beef sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest beef selling prices are West Sumatra, North Sulawesi, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
