Today's Food Price Update in South Kalimantan: Onion and Chili Prices Drop (Thursday, January 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Kalimantan today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (18/1/2024) at 12:52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, garlic bulbs, premium rice, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, dry soybean (import), farmer-level corn, mackerel, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp270 (2.77%) to Rp10,010 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp750 (7.6%) to Rp9,120 per kg.
