Latest Food Prices in North Kalimantan: Rice Up, Onions Down (Thursday, January 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in North Kalimantan today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (18/1/2024) at 10:55 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, broiler chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, and dry soybean seeds (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest increase of Rp170 (1.22%) to Rp14,120 per kg. Red onion prices saw the lowest decrease of Rp10,570 (20.23%) to Rp41,670 per kg.
