10 Provinces with the Highest Fresh Chicken Egg Prices (Thursday, September 22, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 32,560 per kg, as of Thursday, September 22, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 32,770 per kg.

The daily price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 45,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh chicken eggs in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 45,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Papua, fresh chicken eggs were sold at Rp 41,100 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh chicken eggs in Southeast Sulawesi was Rp 39,650 per kg, East Nusa Tenggara Rp 38,600 per kg, and Maluku Rp 37,600 per kg.

Meanwhile, there were 18 provinces with fresh chicken egg sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh chicken eggs were Central Java, Aceh, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
