Daily Chicken Meat Prices at Modern Markets, November 2023 - 2024

Citing the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:23 PM WIB, the daily price of chicken in modern markets in South Sulawesi Province showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chicken in modern markets has decreased from Rp42,600 per kg.

Over the past three months, the daily price of chicken in modern markets in South Sulawesi has increased by 4.43% from a previous recorded price of Rp40,600 per kg.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of chicken in modern markets in this province was in May 2019, with a 13.71% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2022, at -11.6%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in South Sulawesi show eight commodities decreased and nine increased. The commodities with decreased prices are Red Chili, Chili, Curly Red Chili, Rice, Medium Quality II Rice, Chicken, Chicken Eggs, and Fresh Chicken Eggs.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to price changes over the past month in South Sulawesi Province:

2. Cooking Oil per kg: Rp23,250 per kg (up 1.09%)
3. Branded Cooking Oil Pack 2 per kg: Rp21,950 per kg (up 0.23%)
4. Red Chili per kg: Rp33,400 per kg (up 1.37%)
5. Red Chili per kg: Rp30,200 per kg (down 8.21%)
6. Large Red Chili per kg: Rp27,950 per kg (up 3.9%)
7. Chili per kg: Rp33,400 per kg (down 0.15%)
8. Medium-Sized Garlic per kg: Rp50,400 per kg (up 1%)
9. Curly Red Chili per kg: Rp32,400 per kg (down 16.71%)
10. Rice per kg: Rp14,900 per kg (down 0.33%)
11. Shallots per kg: Rp42,400 per kg (up 7.61%)
12. Low-Quality I Rice per kg: Rp15,050 per kg (unchanged)
