Lampung Food Price Update Today: Egg, Salt, and Chili Prices Increase (Tuesday, April 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (9/4/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, premium rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase at Rp6,490 (9.82%), reaching Rp72,560 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the lowest decrease at Rp550 (10.42%), reaching Rp4,730 per kg.

8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp31,100 per kg (up 2.95%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,360 per kg (up 0.58%)
10. Milkfish: Rp28,060 per kg (up 0.04%)
