Latest Indonesian Regional Food Prices: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (30/6/2024) at 12:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are dried soybean (import) and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallots, premium rice, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of imported dried soybeans increased the most, by Rp10 (0.08%) to Rp12,040 per kg. The price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp680 (1.48%) to Rp45,130 per kg.
