Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chicken Meat Up, Salt Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (July 29, 2025) at 08.17 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 saw an increase and 19 saw a decrease.

The commodities with increased prices are pure beef and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, consumption salt, shallots, red bird's eye chili, and packaged cooking oil have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices surged the highest by Rp4,917 (13.38%) to Rp41,667 per kg. As for consumption salt, its price dropped the sharpest by Rp11,765 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
