Aceh Region Food Prices Thursday (11/14): Onions Up, Chilies Down

The price of several food commodities in Aceh today has been observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (14/11/2024) at 13:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, red chilies, milkfish, dry soybean (import), and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp890 (2.53%) to Rp36,030 per kg. Red chilies experienced the steepest price drop, falling by Rp480 (1.83%) to Rp25,690 per kg.
