10 Provinces with the Highest Fresh Chicken Prices (Friday, March 31, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh broiler chicken (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 40,710 per kg, data as of Friday, March 31, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 40,240 per kg.

The daily price of fresh broiler chicken in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 54,400 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh broiler chicken in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 38,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Jambi's modern markets, fresh broiler chicken was sold at Rp 51,150 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh broiler chicken in Gorontalo was Rp 49,450 per kg, Maluku Rp 48,850 per kg, and Bali Rp 48,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 16 provinces with fresh broiler chicken sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh broiler chicken are North Sumatra, Yogyakarta Special Region, and West Sulawesi.
