Indonesia's Food Prices on Monday (September 23rd): Chicken, Egg, and Salt Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (23/9/2024) at 11:26 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 19 commodities increased in price and 2 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of some commodities such as packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel fish saw the highest increase, up Rp1,270 (3.39%) to Rp38,740 per kg. The price of bulk cooking oil saw the largest decrease, down Rp40 (0.25%) to Rp16,270 per liter.
