The price of low-quality grade II rice at Modern Markets in West Papua Province has remained unchanged over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in West Papua Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp16,050 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in West Papua over the last three months has decreased by 2.43%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in West Papua Province was traded at Rp16,450 per kg.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in this province was in March 2020, with an increase of 26.11%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2024, with a decrease of -4.62%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Papua show 15 commodities decreased and seven increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Super Grade II Rice, Premium Granulated Sugar, Rice, Garlic, Chili Peppers, Super Grade I Rice, Large Red Chili Peppers, Red Chili Peppers, Red Chili Peppers, Curly Red Chili Peppers, Granulated Sugar, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Green Chili Peppers, Medium-Sized Garlic, and Local Granulated Sugar.
