Food Prices in Yogyakarta, Tuesday (21/5): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (21/5/2024) at 17.25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, red chilies, and garlic.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, medium rice, granulated sugar, premium rice, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp450 (1.02%) to Rp44,380 per kg. Meanwhile, chicken meat had the lowest price decrease of Rp770 (2.07%) to Rp36,510 per kg.
