Of the 17 sectors driving the region's economy, the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector is the leading contributor.
This sector, ranked first, contributed the largest amount to the GRDP in 2023, reaching Rp1.31 trillion (Note: The original text uses "jutajuta" which is likely a typographical error and should be interpreted as trillion). This represents a 3.68% growth.
The second largest contributor is the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector, which grew by 3.18% to Rp697.15 billion. The manufacturing sector grew by 4.35% to Rp533.71 billion.
Rounding out the top five is the education services sector, with a GRDP of Rp413.11 billion. This sector showed a 4.35% growth compared to the previous year's Rp388.91 billion.
