Banten Region Food Prices Today: Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (9/9/2024) at 09.58 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, broiler eggs, granulated sugar, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp450 (3.59%) to Rp12,980 per kg. Red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp5,070 (16.08%) to Rp26,460 per kg.
