Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Chicken Meat, Onions, and Rice Decrease

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (5/6/2024) at 08.32 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, Indian mackerel, bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, granulated sugar, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most by Rp4,850 (12.71%) to Rp43,000 per kg. The price of shallots decreased the least by Rp9,470 (22.3%) to Rp33,000 per kg.

6. Chicken Meat: Rp35,000 per kg (down 0.79%)
