Aceh's Food Prices Today: Rice Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (3/9/2024) at 08.50 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, premium rice, broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, chicken eggs, granulated sugar, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most by Rp4,780 (10.81%) to Rp48,990 per kg. The price of shallots decreased the most by Rp4,280 (16.01%) to Rp22,450 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas on September 3, 2024, at 08.50 WIB.

6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp29,930 per kg (up 1.35%)
7. Chicken Eggs: Rp24,980 per kg (down 2.73%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp24,490 per kg (down 12.13%)
9. Shallots: Rp22,450 per kg (down 16.01%)
10. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (down 0.44%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,490 per liter (down 5.51%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp15,650 per liter (up 0.77%)
