Current Food Prices in Central Java, How Much is Red Chili?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (14/4/2025) at 15.04 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dried soybean (import), curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, table salt, packaged wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,733 (5.51%) to Rp52,327 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers experienced the steepest price drop of Rp2,483 (2.82%) to Rp85,534 per kg.
