Food Prices in Central Java, Friday (September 6th): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (6/9/2024) at 08.33 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil (simple packaging), dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, garlic bulbs, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp3,110 (9.66%) to Rp35,300 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,660 (5.39%) to Rp29,130 per kg.
