East Java Food Prices on Monday (May 13th): Onion Prices Rise, Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (13/5/2024) at 17.36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most by Rp590 (1.96%) to Rp30,760 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the least by Rp1,190 (3.59%) to Rp31,930 per kg.
