Jambi Region Food Prices on Monday (August 26th): Egg and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (26/8/2024) at 2:48 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, iodized fine salt, mackerel, garlic bulbs, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, skipjack tuna, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp590 (1.72%) to Rp34,990 per kg. Milkfish had the largest price decrease, down by Rp1,550 (5.04%) to Rp29,220 per kg.
