Fresh Chicken Egg Prices in East Java Increased by 4.54% This Week

Fresh chicken egg prices in East Java reached Rp 26,500 per kg on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Compared to other regions, this area saw the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily commodity price monitoring from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, fresh chicken egg prices in East Java increased by 4.54% within a week.

Compared to prices 30 days prior, the price of fresh chicken eggs in this region has increased by 10.42%.

However, over the past year, the selling price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets in East Java has actually decreased. The previous highest record reached Rp 29,700 per kg.

From January to June 2022, the price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 10.42% compared to the previous month.

The price of fresh chicken eggs reached its lowest point at Rp 20,650 per kg on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. The highest price this year reached approximately Rp 29,600 per kg.
