Central Java Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Red Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (4/4/2025) at 14:51 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, garlic bulbs, fresh buffalo meat (local), table salt, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp206 (0.63%) to Rp32,831 per kg. The price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply, by Rp3,399 (5.73%) to Rp55,946 per kg.
