West Sumatra Food Prices, Thursday (July 4th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (4/7/2024) at 12:13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, chicken eggs, pure beef, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp7,210 (22.34%) to Rp39,480 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices fell the most sharply by Rp3,240 (6.34%) to Rp47,870 per kg.
