Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Onion and Beef Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (20/7/2024) at 10:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, chicken eggs, fine iodized salt, farmer-level corn, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,700 (23.29%) to Rp9,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp4,910 (15.11%) to Rp27,590 per kg.
