Today's Food Price Update in Central Kalimantan: Sugar and Salt Prices Increase (Monday, January 22, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Kalimantan today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (22/1/2024) at 13:55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, broiler chicken, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for livestock-level corn, up by Rp640 (5.98%) to Rp11,340 per kg. The lowest price decrease was for mackerel, down Rp1,640 (3.69%) to Rp42,780 per kg.
